Responsibilities
- Build and maintain stable, scalable foundational services for the dbt platform.
- Collaborate with internal partners to influence API design.
- Design and develop secure, highly available user experiences for dbt Cloud administrators and end users.
- Work with product management, UX designers, security, and customer support.
- Utilize various programming languages and technologies including Python, Go, and AWS.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science or engineering.
- Strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming.
- Experience designing and building API-driven applications using REST and/or gRPC.
- Ability to balance speed of delivery with scalable, reusable component design.
