Responsibilities
- Design and implement data ingestion, storage, and manipulation modules for large cybersecurity datasets.
- Develop backend functionality for data-driven UI widgets, web dashboards, workflows, search, and API connectors.
- Design and implement web services, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Build production-quality solutions that balance complexity with functional requirements.
- Collaborate with ML, UI, backend, data engineering, front-end, product management, and DevOps teams.
- Own challenging technical problems and contribute to architecture, design, documentation, and testing.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field and 7+ years of experience.
- Expert programming experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases such as Postgres and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and Redis.
- Experience with search engine databases such as Elasticsearch is preferred.
- Experience with time-series databases such as InfluxDB, Druid, and Prometheus.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Strong algorithm, programming, testing, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
