Responsibilities
- Design and scale backend services for a real-time marketplace.
- Improve code structure and architecture through technical discussions and code reviews.
- Enhance production-system reliability through visibility, monitoring, and health improvements.
- Collaborate across teams to identify integrations and influence the technical roadmap.
- Conduct engineering interviews and support the growth of peers.
Requirements
- Write readable, well-designed, well-tested, and maintainable software.
- Experience building web-based applications using a modern language such as Go, Ruby/Rails, Python, Scala, or Rust.
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with web architecture at scale, ideally in high-traffic environments handling 20krpm or more.
- Exposure to NoSQL backends or caching layers such as Redis, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch.
- Strong problem-solving ability applied to complex logistics or marketplace challenges.
