Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-throughput Go services and features for POS and menu integrations.
- Investigate and resolve production anomalies through weekly signal channel reviews.
- Contribute to scalable system design and technical discussions with senior engineers.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to support international integration rollouts.
- Proactively improve the codebase, fix bugs, and streamline engineering processes.
Requirements
- A few years of commercial experience writing clean, efficient, and testable Go code.
- Understanding of microservices, event-driven design, eventual consistency, and distributed systems.
- Strong focus on production service health and reliability.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work transparently with colleagues.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and openness to pair programming.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants and LLMs in daily development workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and S3.
- Experience in an international company or with high-volume transactional systems is preferred.
- Kafka experience is a strong plus.
