Responsibilities

Serve as the trusted technical advisor on AI agent identity and security for strategic enterprise customers.
Architect and deploy Okta agent security capabilities, including Cross-App Access, Fine-Grained Authorization, MCP Gateway, and agent client registration.
Build, debug, and ship bespoke agent identity solutions from prototype through production inside customer environments.
Advise customer engineering teams and senior executives on identity, delegation, authorization, governance, and agent risk.
Deliver production deployments with identity coverage, security approval, governance compliance, and posture visibility.
Map architectures to agent-security frameworks and regulated requirements such as HIPAA, FedRAMP, and SOC 2.
Integrate Okta for AI Agents with identity providers, IGA, posture management, SIEM, EDR, and policy engines.
Build evaluation and observability capabilities for authorization latency, delegation anomalies, audit completeness, kill-switch verification, and rogue-agent detection.
Convert recurring customer requirements and field patterns into reusable modules and product roadmap improvements.
Maintain regular presence at customer locations.

7+ years of experience shipping production software, including hands-on development and on-call experience with high-throughput authentication and authorization systems.
Expertise with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, RFC 8693 token exchange, act claims, CIMD, DCR, and DPoP.
Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications, NIST AI RMF, and MITRE ATLAS.
Familiarity with Python, MCP, A2A, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act, plus experience mapping deployments to HIPAA, FedRAMP, and SOC 2.
Experience with ReBAC, ABAC, and policy engines such as OPA, Cedar, or OpenFGA.
Hands-on experience building production integrations with Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Agentforce, Bedrock, LangChain, CrewAI, the OpenAI Agents SDK, or MCP servers.
Daily experience using AI-native development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
Ability to operate effectively in customer standups, architecture reviews, incident reviews, and executive briefings.
Strong ownership, self-starting, zero-to-one execution, and customer relationship skills.
Ability to travel, including occasional international travel, up to 35%.
