Responsibilities

  • Embed within customer technical teams and operate according to their tools, processes, and change-management frameworks.
  • Design, configure, implement, and optimize Cloudflare solutions in customer environments.
  • Build prototypes, develop automation scripts, and troubleshoot issues in real time.
  • Provide architectural guidance, roadmap alignment, and best-practice recommendations.
  • Produce solution designs, HLDs, LLDs, databuilds, procedures, test plans, deployment plans, migration plans, as-builts, and other delivery artifacts.
  • Lead technical workshops, knowledge-transfer sessions, product-launch preparation, traffic-event preparation, security drills, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Document decisions, runbooks, and configurations in customer collaborative workspaces.
  • Represent customer needs within Cloudflare by surfacing product gaps, feature requests, and escalations to Engineering, Support, and Product.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, delivery leaders, and other stakeholders on account strategy and expansion opportunities.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to service methodologies, best practices, and reusable assets.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Recognized expertise leading complex, enterprise-scale engagements in applications, networking, Zero Trust/SASE, or leadership and mentorship.
  • Expert understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, and HTTP.
  • Ability to implement, configure, and troubleshoot complex technical solutions.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, scope and estimate complex engagements, and deliver in ambiguous environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers in APJC, ideally Korea, including knowledge of regional compliance, business culture, and technical ecosystems.
  • Preferred experience in regulated industries or complex legacy migrations.
  • Preferred CISSP, CCIE, AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent certifications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, enterprise change-management processes, and Cloudflare’s product suite and edge-network ecosystem.
