Base Salary
$219k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive team goals, technical direction, and organizational efficiency initiatives.
- Lead the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for large cross-company efforts.
- Communicate complex features and systems to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities, influence staffing and prioritization, and collaborate with organization leaders.
- Gather and synthesize requirements into effective feature roadmaps.
- Resolve performance and scalability issues and reduce technical debt.
- Use data and analysis to explain technical problems and develop solutions.
- Apply responsible AI practices and emerging AI techniques to improve workflows where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of programming experience in a relevant language, or 8+ years of experience with a PhD.
- Experience mentoring and influencing executive stakeholders across organizations.
- Experience driving large cross-functional, industry-wide engineering efforts.
- Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
- Proven experience planning multi-year roadmaps that connect short-term projects to long-term missions.
- Preferred experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar systems.
- Preferred experience with responsible and ethical AI practices, prompt/context engineering, and agent orchestration.
- Preferred experience with code reviews, testing, rollouts, monitoring, and proactive quality improvements.
- Experience with C, C++, or Java and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of $219,000/year to $301,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
