Responsibilities
- Design APIs, build DataWeave transformations, and develop or configure connectors using MuleSoft and Anypoint Platform.
- Integrate EHR systems including Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Athena, and Allscripts using MuleSoft EHR connectors.
- Work with HL7 v2.5 messages, MLLP transport, FHIR R4 resources, and FHIR APIs.
- Implement Kafka producer and consumer patterns.
- Apply healthcare data privacy and security requirements, including HIPAA, to data in transit and access control.
- Support the design of multi-tenant, configuration-driven integration systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience with MuleSoft and the Anypoint Platform is required.
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft EHR connectors and healthcare-system integrations is required; direct experience with multiple listed EHR systems is preferred.
- Working knowledge of HL7 v2.5 message structure and MLLP transport is required.
- Working knowledge of FHIR R4 resources and FHIR APIs is required.
- Experience with Kafka producer and consumer patterns is required.
- Understanding of HIPAA-related healthcare data privacy and security requirements is required.
- Experience designing multi-tenant, configuration-driven integration systems is a strong plus.
