Responsibilities
- Design the core architecture of Qutwo OS and its abstraction layer across classical and quantum backends.
- Define the technical blueprint for transforming research innovations into a production-ready platform.
- Work closely with the CTO and Head of Research on platform architecture and technical direction.
- Lead and mentor the platform engineering team.
- Design and guide systems involving quantum computing, hybrid compute, distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of software architecture experience, including at least 3 years in quantum computing.
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware and software architectures and hybrid compute requirements.
- Deep understanding of MLOps and ML/GenAI training pipelines.
- Experience with quantum intermediate representations such as OpenQASM or QIR.
- Proficiency with quantum SDKs including Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Strong background in distributed systems and API design.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, cloud security, Terraform, Kubernetes, and microservices.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts.
- An MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with compiler design or circuit optimization, deep learning model training and deployment including LLMs, HPC systems, or enterprise platform development is a plus.
