Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance Java backend services.
- Implement microservices using Spring Framework 6, Spring Boot 3, and Spring Cloud.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Design schemas and optimize queries for MongoDB and Oracle.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to development-process improvements and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Java development experience with strong Core Java knowledge.
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency with MongoDB, including schema design, complex queries, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of NoSQL database concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in RESTful API design principles.
- Proficiency writing unit and integration tests with frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is preferred.
- Understanding of payments systems and processes, ISO 20022 standards, and open-source contributions is preferred.
