Responsibilities
- Build fast, accessible React Native mobile experiences for onboarding, real-time messaging, and match discovery.
- Design and maintain Node.js/TypeScript backend services, RESTful APIs, WebSocket connections, and WebRTC integrations.
- Integrate OpenAI and Anthropic LLMs, Apple Pay, Google Pay, reservation systems, and SMS or push notification services.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to expose compatibility scores, personalized recommendations, and conversational agents through user interfaces and APIs.
- Own cloud infrastructure and deployment with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
- Implement analytics and instrumentation for user engagement, conversion funnels, and product health.
- Develop reservation and payment workflows, real-time messaging, AI conversation starters, WebRTC voice and video, personalized UI components, feature experimentation, and admin dashboard monitoring.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building production full-stack or mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, React Native, and Node.js.
- Experience designing and scaling RESTful APIs with attention to performance, security, and maintainability.
- Strong working knowledge of Postgres, including data modeling, queries, indexes, and database performance.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Vercel, or Railway for deployment and infrastructure.
- Comfort with Git, CI/CD, feature flags, monitoring, and incident response.
- Familiarity with WebSockets and WebRTC is a plus.
- Passion for user experience, product quality, polish, speed, and edge-case handling.
