Responsibilities
- Help secure users’ devices, user data, and HP IQ infrastructure.
- Apply software engineering skills to privacy and security challenges.
- Balance strong security with exceptional user experiences.
- Contribute to product design and development.
- Use threat modeling and a security-focused mindset to identify potential risks.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong software engineering skills.
- Experience with C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Interest in privacy and security.
- Interest in product design and development.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Preferred understanding of cryptography, access control, authorization, network security, and software security.
- Preferred ability to apply a paranoid mindset to threat modeling.

- Hourly pay of $45.00–$51.00.
- Summer 2027 internship running from May or June through August or September, with final dates based on student schedules.
