Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and provide operational support for the Platform-as-a-Service component of the CASA Compute Environment.
- Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software in heterogeneous operating system environments.
- Administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters and troubleshoot ingress, performance, networking, storage, and workload issues.
- Write, deploy, and maintain Helm charts and automation using infrastructure-as-code principles and Ansible.
- Use Linux tools, Bash/Python scripting, containerization, monitoring, and Git-based source control to maintain platform reliability, scalability, security compliance, and performance.
Requirements
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools, developing Bash or Python scripts, and working with Docker or Podman.
- Demonstrated experience administering and monitoring Kubernetes clusters and troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code automation using Ansible and with writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm charts.
- Experience with Prometheus/Grafana monitoring and Git source code management, branching, and collaboration.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and at least six years of demonstrable software integration and support experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or five years of directly related full-time computer science work substituted for the degree.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, Python application development, and CKA certification are desired.
