Base Salary
$99k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cyber personnel to understand manual analytic processes and automate them.
- Create signature, behavioral, heuristic, anomalous, unsupervised-learning, predictive, and emerging analytic capabilities.
- Develop platforms that produce operational effects and support the design, development, and deployment of production systems.
- Provide post-deployment support and continuous analysis across the full lifecycle of cybersecurity capabilities.
- Analyze information, refine analytics, select countermeasures, review outputs, and improve analytic performance.
- Provide software engineering development and support, including oversight for other personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Development, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience with at least five additional years of applicable experience.
- At least one year of Python development experience and one year of professional development using AWS serverless architecture.
- Experience with federal cybersecurity requirements and varied analytics, including file, network, and host-based analytics.
- Active security clearance and US citizenship are required by the client contract.
- Preferred qualifications include Hadoop/Cloudera or Spark, Power BI, Databricks, Splunk and Splunk Machine Learning, machine learning fundamentals, shell scripting, network monitoring tools, AWS/Google/Azure cloud environments, Linux, real-time automation, and relevant AWS or CompTIA certifications.
- Ability to communicate technical details effectively and prioritize and manage workload.
