Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy test software for validating avionics boards, sensors, and assemblies.
- Create automation-centric software scripts to enhance design and production testing.
- Become a subject matter expert on components under test, understanding their behavior in various conditions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality test systems on time.
- Drive end-to-end test campaigns from development through validation and production automation.
- Triage and root-cause field failures using data analysis and test heritage.
- Develop visualization tools and automation scripts to streamline testing processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience in Python for high volume production applications.
- Knowledge of embedded C and ability to understand Rust is desired.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience building automation systems for safety-critical applications.
- Familiarity with Git/CI and the software development and validation process.
- Experience interfacing software with hardware and validating with representative hardware.
- Experience developing test plans, requirements, and criteria for hardware products.
- Deep understanding of common test instrumentation and data acquisition hardware.
- Ability to solve complex multidisciplinary problems with minimal supervision.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
