Base Salary
$194k - $291k/yr
Responsibilities
- Expand the simulator’s functionality, performance, and usability.
- Develop solutions that improve simulation realism and coverage through synthesis.
- Design and build systems that unify and simplify interactions among complex systems.
- Develop new greenfield projects and expand or scale existing systems.
- Collaborate with autonomy engineers to understand autonomy workflows and formulate effective solutions.
- Work with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders on project ideas, prioritization, and execution.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrate software development experience with C++ and Python.
- Have experience across the full project lifecycle, from taking projects from zero to one through scaling systems for critical pipelines and workflows.
- Demonstrate strong technical excellence and experience raising the technical bar for a team.
- Be able to work effectively in a collaborative, dynamic, and ambiguous startup environment.
- Preferred: experience in simulation for autonomous vehicles or other autonomous-vehicle development.
