Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support ETL, data warehouse, process flow, PnL validation and adjustment tools, and PnL reporting frameworks.
- Build analytical tools on a next-generation technology platform for firm management and portfolio managers.
- Support reporting requirements for Finance, Operations, Audit, and Technology functions.
- Develop a quantitative understanding of PnL processes and data flows to anticipate new requirements.
- Improve product capabilities and solve complex business problems with innovative technology solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Five years of programming experience.
- Strong data engineering, analytics, ETL, and reconciliation skills using T-SQL, Python, and Airflow.
- Strong development skills using Python or C#.
- Strong data visualization skills using JavaScript or React.
- Experience with end-to-end system design, development, support, and user coordination.
- Prior financial industry experience with risk, valuation, or trading systems is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and commitment to high ethical standards.
