Responsibilities
- Define security patterns and guardrails for AI-generated applications, including authentication, authorization, data access, APIs, and business logic.
- Build validation layers for AI-generated code and detect prompt injection, adversarial inputs, and other AI-specific attack patterns.
- Design secure multi-tenant cloud and runtime environments with compute, network, and storage isolation.
- Harden AWS and GCP infrastructure, including IAM, VPCs, secrets, workloads, and service-to-service communication.
- Threat model AI agents, generated applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and runtime environments.
- Build detection, logging, SIEM, monitoring, alerting, and controls for malicious workloads and data-exfiltration attempts.
- Red-team AI-generated applications and execution environments to identify systemic weaknesses.
- Secure AI-agent build and deployment pipelines, software supply chains, and artifact integrity.
- Design authentication and authorization frameworks, secure SDKs, APIs, gateways, rate limiting, and validation layers.
- Drive security initiatives from architecture through implementation in partnership with engineering and product teams.
Requirements
- 8–15+ years of security engineering experience across Application/Product Security and Cloud/Infrastructure Security.
- Strong coding and automation skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or backend systems.
- Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, authentication and authorization, API security, injection vulnerabilities, secure software development, and threat modeling.
- Strong experience with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, containers, IAM, secrets management, network security, container security, runtime protection, and multi-tenant environments.
- Experience designing and securing systems that execute untrusted or user-generated code.
- Ability to work across application, infrastructure, and platform security layers.
- Experience partnering with engineering and product teams and driving security initiatives from architecture through implementation.
- Preferred experience securing AI/LLM or agentic systems and addressing prompt injection, output validation, and AI-specific threat models.
- Preferred experience with sandboxed or ephemeral execution environments and high-scale multi-tenant platforms.
- Preferred experience building scalable security systems for dynamically generated applications or workloads.
