Responsibilities
- Own technical implementation and ongoing operations for a portfolio of SAS Cloud customer environments.
- Oversee and approve changes for assigned customers.
- Consult with customers to understand their business and connect SAS capabilities to business outcomes.
- Deliver customer service using a customer-first and continuous-improvement approach.
- Collaborate with SAS R&D, Product, Technical Support, Service Management Office, and other teams to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Cloud Service Delivery Managers and participate in a global Cloud Technical Lead Community of Practice.
Requirements
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Canadian government security clearance for work in a protected space.
- 8+ years of technical experience, including 3 years in consulting, systems support, customer support, or enterprise software training.
- 3 years of experience with UNIX or Linux supporting enterprise-class applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Experience with containers, container-based applications, and/or container orchestration tools.
- Equivalent combinations of related education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Preferred: familiarity with MS Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift; experience with Python, Ansible, or Kubernetes; scripting experience; and experience with SAS.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
