Responsibilities
- Drive technical sales with decision makers through demos and proofs of concept to influence solution design and production deployments.
- Lead hands-on hackathons and architecture workshops to accelerate adoption of Microsoft cloud platforms.
- Build trusted relationships with platform leads and co-design secure, scalable architectures and solutions.
- Resolve technical blockers and objections while collaborating with engineering teams to share customer insights and improve products.
- Maintain expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databases, Azure Databricks, Purview, on-premises enterprise data warehouses, Hadoop, and business intelligence solutions.
- Represent Microsoft through thought leadership in cloud database and analytics communities and customer forums.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 3+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience; bachelor's degree plus 4+ years; or 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure, architecture design, migrations, industry standards, or technology management is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, cloud platform technologies, information security, or architecture are preferred.
- Extensive experience with Azure Databases, Azure Analytics, data warehouses, data lakes, big data, real-time intelligence, reporting, and integrated data security and governance is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead technical engagements such as hackathons, proofs of concept, and minimum viable products toward production-scale outcomes is preferred.
Benefits
- The typical base pay range is CAD $96,000 to CAD $177,600 per year.
