Responsibilities
- Develop test automation scripts using C#, Selenium, and Protractor.
- Enhance the automation framework and support automated smoke and regression test suites in a continuous integration environment.
- Provide testing input during user-requirement refinement for new and updated product features.
- Design and document end-to-end, sanity, regression, functional, and API test cases.
- Review test-case design, coverage, and script design with project stakeholders.
- Clarify requirements with product owners and functional analysts and identify gaps in test coverage.
- Perform root-cause analysis of escaped defects and create test scenarios to address coverage gaps.
- Write SQL joins and subqueries to validate test results against the underlying database.
- Execute, monitor, and analyze test results against organizational metrics.
- Track, manage, and resolve defects using TFS.
- Coordinate issue resolution with QA, developers, product management, and other teams.
- Perform functional testing where automation is not possible.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in automation testing using C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with automation testing, C# or Java, API testing, BDD Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, and SQL.
- Knowledge of testing APIs and web services using tools such as Postman.
- Experience designing test cases using various testing techniques.
- Good SQL skills, including joins and subqueries.
- BE, MCA, or equivalent degree or experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exposure to performance-testing tools and processes such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Visual Studio Load Test is preferred.
