Responsibilities
- Design and operate Bandwidth's AI infrastructure layer.
- Build and maintain developer tooling and platform services.
- Drive adoption of AI coding tools through enablement systems.
- Integrate AI with existing engineering systems for seamless workflows.
- Measure engineer velocity and real shipping outcomes.
- Help teams evolve from manual coding to orchestrating AI systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating web services in production.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar.
- Experience with platform services like CI/CD and developer portals.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs and model routing tradeoffs.
- Experience building tools or services that engineers depend on.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on shipping and measuring outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
