Responsibilities
- Prepare technical design specifications with cross-functional teams based on product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance and platform convergence activities.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer outcomes and organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist and mentor development staff in delivering product features.
- Lead technical conversations, design sessions, code reviews, and architecture-related decision making.
- Provide architectural direction for reliability, scaling, design patterns, cloud, DevOps, and AI modernization initiatives.
- Communicate with executive leadership, peers, development teams, stakeholders, and customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, and enhancing software systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Significant experience in system engineering, analytical systems design, and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains, with the ability to translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
- Preferred experience with application monitoring tools, performance assessments, AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
