Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and manage agentic governance services for audit, catalog, consent, authorization, identity, and policy use cases.
- Implement authorization, policy, and identity components in Python and integrate them with existing Java-based services.
- Ship AI agent capabilities to production, including tool calling, MCP integration, coordination, assessments, and safeguards.
- Build and maintain well-tested APIs and backend services.
- Deploy and operate cloud services while owning reliability, performance, scalability, security, and on-call support.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product, security, and privacy partners to shape agentic governance standards.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and engineering practice improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on experience building an LLM or agent feature used in production or by internal users.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong backend fundamentals, including building and testing APIs and deploying cloud services.
- Experience storing and retrieving data using SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud service platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
- Preferred: Java/JVM experience sufficient to integrate with existing services.
- Preferred: experience with observability tools and distributed tracing.
- Preferred: familiarity with RBAC/ABAC, OAuth/OIDC, or policy engines.
