Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Define requirements with business stakeholders and implement customer-focused solutions.
- Perform technical design and hands-on coding for development and enhancement efforts.
- Develop user-facing features, reusable code, and libraries.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Validate user input before submitting it to backend services.
- Promote design and coding best practices and conduct design and code reviews.
- Communicate complex problems and viable architecture and design approaches clearly.
- Participate occasionally in customer demos and provide technical input.
- Optimize and automate mundane tasks while contributing to continuous team learning.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of professional front-end development experience.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with the React ecosystem, including React Router, Styled-components, server-side rendering, Context API, and React Hooks, is strongly preferred.
- Experience with state-management libraries such as Redux or MobX is a plus.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and mitigation strategies.
- Backend programming experience with Java, Python, or Node.js is strongly preferred.
- Experience building web applications with frameworks such as Spring.
- Expertise in design principles and their application.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, a fast-learning mindset, and teamwork skills.
- Experience working at internet companies, product companies, or startups is preferred.
