Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud environments and platforms.
- Build infrastructure automation and integrate new platforms with clients’ existing infrastructure.
- Implement cloud security, compliance, resilience, monitoring, and observability practices.
- Automate routine operational tasks and promote standardized tools, processes, and configurations.
- Optimize cloud costs through FinOps practices without compromising performance or reliability.
- Partner with clients, product teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide infrastructure support.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in cloud, infrastructure, or DevOps roles; the posting notes these competencies often take 7+ years to accumulate.
- Production experience with AWS, preferably also GCP, including multi-account setups, networking, security, IAM, and monitoring.
- Experience with at least one infrastructure-as-code tool such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Scripting or programming skills for automation using Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong CI/CD experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Practical observability experience with tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, or OpenSearch.
- Understanding of application architectures and ability to read and reason about code to debug platform issues.
- Hands-on cloud cost optimization and FinOps experience.
- Experience implementing cloud security best practices aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience partnering closely with clients and stakeholders, plus fluency in English.
