Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Provide technical and thought leadership across multiple enterprise domains.
- Collaborate with product managers, customers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to solve complex problems.
- Develop and execute software development strategy and technical roadmaps.
- Design, build, improve, and scale new and existing software systems.
- Ensure solution quality, usability, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Use Java, Python, SQL, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure tools and services.
- Mentor engineers and product community members and educate executives and technical stakeholders.
- Share engineering best practices and improve processes across teams.
- Analyze costs, forecast needs, support resource requirements, and measure operational outcomes.
- Apply Cursor AI to accelerate software development workflows.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience with a Java framework such as Spring.
- 8+ years of experience in architecture and design.
- 6+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
- Experience designing experiments, influencing engineering direction, and shaping product roadmaps.
- Experience partnering with engineering teams and transferring research to production.
- Experience effectively using Cursor AI.
- A publication track record in credible conferences and journals.
- Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Strong knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms and quantitative analytical problem-solving.
- Fluency and specialization in at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Experience with microservices-oriented architecture, REST APIs, and scalable system design.
- Fluency in DevOps concepts, cloud architecture, and the Azure DevOps operational framework.
- Experience with PowerShell, Azure Portal, application monitoring, performance assessment, Azure networking, and Azure native services.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth, datacenter capabilities, and security protocols and products.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and use developer tooling across the software development lifecycle.
