Senior Migration Consultant - R&D (Remote)

Base Salary
$90k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide subject-matter expertise for Vault R&D migration implementations, including document content and object-data migration from legacy systems to Vault
- Advise customers on extract, transform, and load processes
- Mentor Veeva Data Migration Specialists on migration activities and best practices
- Contribute to the Professional Services knowledge base and migration program
- Guide migration-tool development for ETL processes
- Assist with project-scoping estimates for the Vault R&D product suite
- Work with Services, Product, Sales, and Strategy teams to support customer success
Requirements
- 7+ years of document/content migration experience with enterprise content management systems such as Documentum, OpenText, Box, and SharePoint
- 7+ years of database migration experience with enterprise software systems such as SAP, Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Trackwise, Argus, and ArisGlobal
- 7+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience
- Proven ability to meet with senior management and executives as a subject-matter expert
- Experience leading and mentoring team members
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada
- Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry
- Preferred experience with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processes
- Preferred project management experience for enterprise software implementations
- Preferred experience with GxP and software validation regulations
- Preferred experience with migration verification processes
