Responsibilities
- Design system infrastructure architectures using AWS or Azure native services.
- Implement infrastructure in AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Track and monitor provisioning status for AWS and Azure services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues during implementation and maintenance with vendors and customers.
- Set up, maintain, and monitor AWS and Azure services, networking, databases, and load-balancing components.
- Provision and manage cloud services across AWS or Azure using Terraform.
- Implement secure, robust, and highly available cloud environments, including system hardening based on CIS Benchmarks.
- Perform Kubernetes operations and support continuous integration and continuous delivery solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure and their components.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and ALB.
- Experience with Azure services including Virtual Machine, Managed Disk, Azure SQL, Load Balancer, and Application Gateway.
- Knowledge of AWS networking technologies including VPC, Subnet, and Security Group, and Azure technologies including VNet, NSG, and ASG.
- Strong experience with SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience implementing and maintaining secure, robust, and highly available environments.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Experience with system hardening using CIS Benchmarks for operating systems, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes commands and operations; Docker image knowledge is preferred.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect – Expert certification is preferred.
- Full lifecycle cloud infrastructure experience, including design, implementation, long-term maintenance, and optimization, is preferred.
- Experience working with Government on Commercial Cloud is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
