Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain API-driven Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions.
- Develop SCAPI, OCAPI, REST API, web service, and BFF integrations for headless storefronts.
- Build reusable services supporting commerce, customer, product, pricing, inventory, and checkout capabilities.
- Integrate SFCC with enterprise and third-party systems using the Service Framework.
- Troubleshoot API, integration, and application issues across development and production environments.
- Contribute to API architecture, integration patterns, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability practices.
- Support release activities, deployment validation, and post-release monitoring.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and integration design artifacts.
- Collaborate with Full Stack Developers, Architects, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of API development and integration engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience.
- Strong SCAPI and OCAPI development experience.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services.
- Strong understanding of API security, OAuth, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with JavaScript, backend integration development, and the SFCC Service Framework.
- Experience designing reusable API services and integration patterns.
- Understanding of headless commerce and composable architecture principles.
- Experience integrating SFCC with enterprise and third-party systems.
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification is mandatory.
- Backend for Frontend architecture, headless commerce, OMS, payment, search and merchandising, analytics and tagging, Jobs Framework, Postman, and Git experience are preferred.
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification, composable commerce, fraud prevention, tax, shipping, fulfillment, retail, and omnichannel commerce experience are good to have.
- Sterling OMS, Forter, and Vertex experience are preferred or acceptable examples for relevant integrations.
