Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and scale high-performance, highly available backend services supporting 10X business growth.
- Architect distributed systems and APIs capable of handling massive concurrency with sub-millisecond latency.
- Define technical vision and architecture for cloud infrastructure targeting 99.999% availability.
- Build self-service platform tools and end-to-end cloud deployment automation using Terraform, Python, and Go.
- Optimize Kubernetes and Docker environments, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing and monitoring systems.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, optimize cloud infrastructure usage, and apply security and networking best practices.
- Solve complex technical problems across AWS, GCP, Azure, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Provide technical influence through mentorship, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing across global engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on backend engineering experience and experience building large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of Go, Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale architectures using public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Linux internals, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience delivering backend systems requiring 99.999% uptime and low-latency performance.
- Hands-on experience with database management, automated CI/CD deployment pipelines, and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
