Responsibilities
- Define and evolve infrastructure architecture for resilient multi-region deployments.
- Design systems for scalability, reliability, and operational simplicity.
- Extend monitoring and observability capabilities across services.
- Build tooling for safe deployments, fast rollbacks, and reduced operational toil.
- Apply AI-assisted approaches to operational detection, triage, automation, and platform decision-making where valuable.
- Scope, lead, and deliver platform initiatives autonomously.
- Drive cross-team projects with clear outcomes and accountability.
- Improve documentation, runbooks, and internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building, operating, and troubleshooting production-grade systems with a focus on reliability, observability, and scalability.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML or LLM-based tools in platform or operational contexts.
- Strong programming and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, RDS, S3, and CloudFront, or equivalent platforms on GCP or Azure.
- Solid Linux and networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.
- Practical experience designing or improving observability with metrics, logs, and traces using tools such as Datadog, Grafana, ELK, Sentry, and OpsGenie.
- Ability to own complex technical problems, use data to guide decisions, and drive implementation across teams.
- Clear communication skills and systems-thinking capability.
- Experience with Claude Code.
