Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical anchor and primary technical owner for complex enterprise-grade AI solutions.
- Lead hands-on implementation of autonomous agents and advanced agentic architectures using frameworks such as Google ADK.
- Architect and implement AgentOps and agentic AI governance systems, including evaluation, observability, and traceability capabilities.
- Define and implement evaluation strategies for AI systems using platforms such as LangFuse.
- Partner with product leadership on AI product strategy and technical roadmaps.
- Design and implement AI-driven improvements to core business processes.
- Collaborate with Technology, Model Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies and evangelize AI best practices.
- On the people leadership track, guide and grow AI engineers through coaching, performance management, and strategic project oversight.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience with significant experience building and deploying large-scale AI/ML systems.
- Expertise in Python.
- Experience architecting and building complex systems with agentic frameworks such as Google ADK, LangChain, and AutoGen.
- Deep expertise in context optimization, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation at scale.
- Strong architectural skills in complex distributed systems and scalable backend APIs.
- Expertise defining and implementing AI evaluation strategies using platforms such as LangFuse.
- Experience building control and sandboxing systems for AI research is preferred.
- Contributions to open-source AI or cloud-native projects are preferred.
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes is preferred.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks and MLOps principles is preferred.
- Advanced certifications in generative AI, agentic AI, cloud architecture, Kubernetes, or machine learning are a strong plus.
- Bachelor's or university degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; a master's degree is highly preferred.
