Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, security, data migration, accessibility, and UAT testing for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
- Build and maintain automated regression test suites using OATS, Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, or equivalent tools.
- Perform parallel payroll validation by comparing Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM results with legacy outputs and resolving variances before production cutover.
- Conduct Section 508 accessibility testing against WCAG 2.1 AA standards using assistive technologies.
- Coordinate UAT with agency stakeholders, including scenario development, tester training, defect triage, and sign-off tracking.
- Design and execute performance and load testing for peak federal workforce transaction volumes.
- Manage defects from discovery through resolution using JIRA or equivalent tools, including severity classification, root cause analysis, and trend reporting.
- Test end-to-end integrations with EHRI, eOPF, USA Staffing, payroll providers, Employee Express, MyPay, and other federal systems.
- Validate Oracle quarterly updates through targeted regression testing.
- Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and continuous testing improvements.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, and execution summary reports.
- Communicate quality status, technical approaches, and testing progress to project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, with additional experience accepted in place of the degree.
- At least seven years of professional experience in software QA, test engineering, or test automation for enterprise applications.
- At least five years of hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, OATS, Tricentis Tosca, or equivalent.
- Experience testing cloud-based enterprise applications through functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Proficiency with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps Test Plans.
- Understanding of SAFe Agile continuous testing practices, including TDD and shift-left strategies.
- Experience coordinating UAT with business stakeholders, including planning, execution, and defect triage.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes six or more years of testing experience with a large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or Oracle ERP Cloud implementation.
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level certification is preferred.
- Preferred performance testing experience includes JMeter, Gatling, or Oracle Load Testing.
- Preferred Section 508 accessibility testing experience includes ANDI, axe, or JAWS.
- Knowledge of federal HR processes such as payroll, benefits administration, and personnel actions is preferred.
- Experience with parallel payroll validation and automated payroll comparison testing is preferred.
- Scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, or Groovy is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud technologies including OIC or OCI is preferred.
