Responsibilities
- Perform functional testing, requirements gathering and analysis, and preparation and review of test specifications.
- Execute tests and debug software in simulation test environments.
- Prepare test reports and conduct causal analysis and preventive actions for technical issues.
- Set up and work hands-on with target hardware while ensuring electrostatic-discharge compliance and safe equipment handling.
- Perform resident testing, joint bench checks with customers, and fleet testing for each engineering drop.
- Flash software at the production plant and coordinate with offshore teams for development support.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in embedded software testing, preferably in automotive infotainment.
- Knowledge of software test methodologies and test-design techniques.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and UDS protocols.
- Experience with scripting, preferably CAPL and Python.
- Experience with test environments and debugging.
- Familiarity with automotive infotainment, CAN communication, and embedded software development processes.
- BE or ME degree.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is optional.
