Responsibilities
- Create and maintain data pipelines and foundational datasets to support product and business needs.
- Design and build database architectures for large and complex data, balancing computational load and cost.
- Develop data quality audits at scale, implementing alerts as necessary.
- Create scalable dashboards and reports to support business objectives and data-driven decision-making.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in production environments.
- Work closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to define and implement new functionalities.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Santiago.
- Over 2 years of experience in software development in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with one or more Big Data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Iceberg, AWS Glue, or S3.
- Familiarity with large-scale data processing and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively.
- High-performance mindset with a strong bias for action.
