Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Build full-stack applications using Java or Python and React.
- Lead responsible adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting tools.
- Automate recurring issue remediation and improve application and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluations of vendor, startup, and internal technology solutions and architectural designs.
- Drive communities of practice and adoption of leading-edge software engineering technologies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced full-stack development skills using Java or Python and React.
- Experience leading AI-assisted software development practices and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of application resiliency and security, plus practical cloud-native experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications or technical processes in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
