Responsibilities
- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Write complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and resource management.
- Apply database design and data modeling principles to application development.
- Debug and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Integrate PL/SQL with other application components and services.
- Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with multiple teams on technical decisions.
- Lead process improvements to enhance team productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members and share technical best practices.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication for timely project delivery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PL/SQL).
- Strong experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Ability to optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and resource management.
- Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting database-related issues.
- Knowledge of integrating PL/SQL with other application components and services.
- 15 years of full-time education required.
