Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain platform-level microservices using Golang.
  • Build internal tools and UI components using ReactJS for engineering workflows and operations.
  • Create and manage Docker container environments and deploy them on Kubernetes.
  • Design scalable and secure service architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Own platform services including identity, observability, configuration management, and service discovery.
  • Optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL.
  • Provide libraries, patterns, and documentation to enable consistent service development across engineering teams.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
  • Monitor system health and performance and drive observability and reliability improvements.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong backend experience with Golang and microservices architecture.
  • Solid front-end experience with ReactJS.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other SQL-based databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, and service-level concerns.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging systems such as Kafka, NATS, or GCP Pub-Sub is a plus.
  • Experience with GCP or AWS is preferred.
  • Exposure to Terraform or Helm is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry is preferred.
  • Understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, authentication, authorization, and secrets management is preferred.
