Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve the agentic AI platform, evaluating managed cloud services, open-source technologies, and build-versus-buy approaches.
- Design, build, and operate secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform Infrastructure as Code modules with testing, version control, and automated delivery.
- Develop Python automation, integrations, and internal platform tooling to improve reliability, repeatability, and developer self-service.
- Contribute to deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes.
- Contribute to automating, integrating, and operating Data and AI workloads on Azure Databricks.
- Own platform capabilities within a defined scope from requirements through delivery and operational improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, make pragmatic technical decisions, identify risks, and improve engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and operating infrastructure in Microsoft Azure across compute, networking, storage, identity, security, governance, and containers.
- Strong experience with Terraform Infrastructure as Code and the ability to develop maintainable, reusable, and well-tested infrastructure modules.
- Strong Python scripting or development experience for infrastructure automation, platform integrations, and internal tooling.
- Practical knowledge of agentic-system architecture and capabilities including model and tool integration, MCP, context management, identity, security, observability, evaluation, and governance.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Azure Databricks or comparable Data and AI platforms is beneficial.
- Ability to become productive quickly with minimal guidance and training.
