Base Salary
$230k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural decisions across the Go, Python, and TypeScript stack.
- Own features end-to-end from backend services to frontend product experiences.
- Drive tracing, monitoring, and evaluation workflows at scale.
- Set engineering standards and define patterns for the team.
- Mentor and grow engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a root-cause mindset.
- Ensure system reliability through strong testing and monitoring practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design docs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in backend or fullstack engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, and TypeScript.
- Experience making and owning architectural decisions.
- Proven ability to optimize high-throughput or mission-critical systems.
- Demonstrated track record of mentoring engineers.
- Strong communication skills and comfort operating cross-functionally.
- Customer centricity and an ownership mentality.
