Base Salary
$158k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop low-level and middleware platform software for powertrain and high-voltage electronic control units.
- Lead development of reliable, safety- and performance-critical electric vehicle software components.
- Support design, development, debugging, and integration of individual functions into control units.
- Conduct design and code reviews to optimize platform software.
- Develop design and product validation test programs to ensure software durability and robustness.
- Use scripting tools and methods to optimize software development and testing activities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages, with embedded C development experience for resource-constrained environments preferred.
- Extensive experience with Real-Time Operating Systems and their architectures.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and data sheets.
- Hands-on experience with on-chip debugging tools and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Experience with board bring-up processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required.
- Master’s degree or higher in a related technical field preferred.
