Responsibilities
- Review production agent runs, triage operator corrections, and distinguish software bugs from changes needed to the autonomy boundary.
- Observe operator workflows and translate implicit rules into mechanisms that AI agents can execute.
- Convert operator feedback into tests, evaluations, or prompt updates.
- Own the roadmap, prioritize work, demonstrate progress, and document design decisions.
- Partner with operations leaders to identify workflows ready for agent automation and those requiring human involvement.
- Translate ambiguous operator problems into measurable mechanisms with defined success criteria.
- Monitor trust score, accuracy, latency, and cost per decision, investigating regressions.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience excluding internships.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
