Responsibilities
- Engage in the design and development of major infrastructure components and systems.
- Practice principles of distributed leadership in project collaboration.
- Own systems end-to-end from design to production.
- Collaborate with other teams for successful integration and operation.
- Foster an environment that encourages learning from mistakes.
- Enable fact-driven decision-making based on data or code.
- Drive continuous improvement in system reliability and usability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and optimizing systems software.
- Deep expertise in virtualization, storage, service modeling, scientific computing, or kernel development.
- Natural curiosity or drive to learn about new technologies.
- Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Comfort with at least one systems programming language (C/C++, golang) and one scripting language (python, bash).
- Comfort with shells on *nix family systems.
- B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
