Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Java backend services and APIs powering the Sinch Build Dashboard.
- Design and maintain clean, reliable, and performant database models.
- Support experiments and A/B tests and use tracking data to understand customer behavior.
- Own and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent and safe production releases.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, Product, and cross-functional teams.
- Use AI coding tools to build, test, and ship software efficiently.
- Follow a build-ship-run approach and take ownership of delivered work.
Requirements
- 3–4+ years of backend development experience.
- Solid Java experience and strong database knowledge.
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Understanding of frontend development and ability to collaborate with frontend engineers.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar, including understanding of their benefits, risks, and best practices.
- Pragmatic, product-minded approach and willingness to ship frequently.
- Clear written and spoken English communication.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Stockholm office.
