Base Salary
$215k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Build robust cloud-based solutions that support regulatory needs and customer experiences.
- Use programming languages, databases, container orchestration services, and AWS tools to develop software.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, and optimize distributed-system performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and mentor engineering community members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two listed programming languages, plus experience with databases, cloud platforms, open source frameworks, front-end frameworks, APIs, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and Git-based version control.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting cloud environments, using AI coding tools and IDE copilots, mentoring engineers, applying observability, leading large-scale initiatives, and enforcing coding standards and design patterns.
