Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications, services, APIs, and user interfaces under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Translate defined requirements and technical designs into clean, maintainable, and testable software.
- Contribute to backend services using Java, Spring Boot, or comparable technologies.
- Contribute to web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable frontend technologies.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and support event-driven integrations.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and apply data-modeling and query-development practices.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in debugging, code reviews, technical discussions, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and continuous-improvement activities.
- Contribute to application security, accessibility, observability, performance, scalability, and operational readiness.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and validate generated code with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Follow repository guidance, coding standards, testing expectations, technical documentation, and Software Factory development practices.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, data, quality engineering, and business stakeholders while seeking feedback and sharing knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 0 to two years of professional software engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, or relevant project experience.
- Foundational knowledge of software development principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with Java or another object-oriented programming language.
- Familiarity with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS and general web development concepts.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, relational databases, and source-control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of software testing and maintainable, reliable code.
- Familiarity with basic application security and secure-coding practices.
- Ability to deliver work incrementally through small, independently testable units.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, attention-to-detail, customer-focus, ownership, accountability, integrity, and willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve.
