Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-overhead interfaces connecting Braket’s cloud infrastructure to quantum hardware.
- Build session management, memory management, and execution control systems using AWS services.
- Collaborate with scientists and product teams to translate customer requirements into reliable, maintainable infrastructure.
- Optimize customer-to-quantum-processor execution paths for low latency and high throughput.
- Contribute to the architecture of Braket’s execution stack and evaluate generative AI tools for development workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
