Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for mobile, UI, web, and API testing.
- Perform mobile automation and web automation using Appium and Playwright.
- Develop and execute API automation test suites.
- Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
- Maintain, enhance, and debug automation scripts for stability and scalability.
- Collaborate with product, development, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and automation strategy.
- Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Report, track, and validate defects.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to scalable automation solutions.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in UI automation testing and mobile automation testing.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Appium.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and database testing, including MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration, including Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience with Git version control.
- Experience designing test cases, identifying cases for automation, and maintaining and optimizing automation scripts.
- Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and interact effectively with product and business stakeholders.
- B.E., B.Tech, MCA, M.E., M.Tech, or M.Sc. in Computer Science.
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch and exposure to test reporting and monitoring tools are desirable.
