Base Salary
$118k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead cloud transformation strategy across infrastructure, platforms, applications, and data services.
- Shape AWS cloud infrastructure supporting data ingestion, pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting services.
- Own identification, prioritization, and remediation of infrastructure security vulnerabilities.
- Establish and enforce best practices for access control, encryption, secrets management, and network segmentation.
- Coach DevOps and SecOps practices across the organization.
- Mentor and coach engineers through design reviews, knowledge sharing, and hands-on guidance.
- Act as the primary technical focal point for stakeholders and provide project feasibility, time, effort, risk, and status assessments.
- Define improvements to increase the reliability, security, and performance of cloud platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis on complex infrastructure issues and liaise with business units on changing needs.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of infrastructure or software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years focused on cloud technologies, platforms, and transformation across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrated experience leading cloud transformation strategy and migrating enterprise workloads from traditional data centers to hybrid or fully cloud-enabled architectures.
- Hands-on experience with least-privilege access, encryption, secrets management, network segmentation, and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with DevOps and SecOps methodologies and integrating security practices across software development and infrastructure lifecycles.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach engineers across a broad IT organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior executives and business leaders.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Preferred education includes a bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or Information Technology.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
